You are sure to get MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK at the 2010 Vermont State Fair. You can purchase passes for one low price to get you into the grounds all ten days, purchase daily admission tickets for a $3 savings per day, purchase ride tickets in advance and save $10, get your concert tickets in advance and get free admission to the Fair or take advantage of one of the three promotional days that include $1 admission day, free admission day or a low admission price of $12 and have unlimited rides for free.

The Vermont State Fair will be opening its gates in 2010 with more FREE Entertainment then any other Fair in the Northeast. Included with your admission price to the grounds you can enjoy shows by The Magic of Lance Gifford & Co., Galaxy Girl, Horses, Horses, Horses, Eudora Farms Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, Atlantic Coast Old Timers Racing Club, a Model Circus Display, the worlds famous Rosaire’s Royal Racing Pigs, The Big Bear Show, an All Breed Horse Pavilion and Al the Artist will be returning. In addition, Comedy Entertainer Jason Huneke, Ozseeker the Clown, Barre Pinske Carvings, and The Pork Chop Revue will all be making their first appearance at the Vermont State Fairgrounds.

When the Vermont State Fair began in 1846, it had a large agricultural background. Today we continue to grow our agricultural area offering cattle, sheep, goat, and horse shows to name a few as well as a large 4H department. Already this year, the cattle superintendent is reporting a record number of entries.

Some of the finest musical performers will be on the Comcast Stage. Molly Hatchet with Special Guest Blackfoot, Wynonna Judd, Rick Springfield, Danny Gokey & Charley Pride will be putting on magnificent concerts. Comedian Cledus T. Judd will also be taking the stage on September 7th. The traditional Demolition Derbies will be back on September 3rd, 5th & 12th. And don’t forget, FREE admission to the Fair with the purchase of show tickets on September 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th & 11th if purchased before August 21st.

The Vermont State Fair is also pleased to offer a midway provided by Castlerock Shows with over 30 rides as well as food and games for the whole family. Eight wristband days will take place as well as “Dollar Day” ($1 per ride) on Wednesday, September 8th. Be sure not to miss Thursday, September 9th when your $12 gate admission includes all rides. This is sure to be a great deal for families.
